(hed)p.e. To Release New Version Of “Bartender” Featuring DJ Lethal (Limp Bizkit) & Dropout Kings This Week

(hed)p.e. have teamed up with DJ Lethal (Limp Bizkit) and Dropout Kings for a new version of their song “Bartender.” The updated take on the track, which is titled “Bartenders,” will be released on April 8 and it will serve as the first single from (hed)p.e. and Dropout Kings’ new split EP.

(hed)p.e.’s Jared Gomes said the following about the new version of “Bartender”:

“Stoked to announce we have teamed up with our brothers in Dropout Kings and DJ Lethal for a re-loaded version of Bartender dropping this Friday! When someone suggested we remake this (Hed) P.E classic, I initially couldn’t wrap my brain around the idea because this track is so perfect. Then Staig and Eddie from Dropout Kings brought some new ideas to the table on how we could do a unique new take on the song. They brought that trap metal vibe to it and then DJ Lethal from House of Pain/Limp Bizkit added some scratches to bring this track to life and create a fucking rad version that stands next to the original.”

The band also added the following about the EP:

“One of our favorite new bands from the upcoming generation is @dropoutkingsaz. So when the idea of doing a split EP and song together came up we couldn’t have found a better band to collab with. The Split EP has a brand new song from them, a new song from us, and we did a remix of one of my favorite DOK songs GlitchGang. It features @officialtwiztid @therealcrazytown and of course HED PE. This Friday we are dropping the first song from the EP. It’s a re-loaded version of a HED PE classic with both the DROPOUT KINGS and @djlethalreal from limpbizkit and #HouseOfPain on it. “Bartenders” has that added energy that Dropout Kings brings and the special sauce that Lethal brings to every track he blesses. World Premiere this Friday at 9 am PST.”
