Billy Howerdel (A Perfect Circle) has shared a teaser for his new song “Poison Flowers.” The full track will be released on March 4 and it will also appear on his upcoming solo album.
Howerdel said the following about the upcoming record:
“This new album was birthed while on tour with A Perfect Circle. A weird blend of confidence, vulnerability and mortality urgently compelled me to write a letter of sorts in the form of an album.”
Howerdel will also be making his solo debut during a live show with Our Lady Peace and Spirit Of The Bear at The Fremont Country Club in Las Vegas, NV on February 23. That event will serve as a kickoff party for #Happens.
Notably, Howerdel’s backing band will consist of Josh Freese (ex-Nine Inch Nails, ex-A Perfect Circle, etc.), Danny Lohner (ex-Nine Inch Nails, etc.), Kaela Sinclair (M83) and Kevin Maher (Fake Shark).
