According Deadline, a new docuseries focusing on the infamous Woodstock ’99 festival is currently in the works. Raw (“Don’t Fuck with Cats”, “Fear City: New York vs. The Mafia”) and BBH Entertainment (Depeche Mode‘s “Spirits In The Forest”) are both involved in the project, which will be released via Netflix. Woodstock ’99 was held in Rome, NY back in July 1999 and it ended up turning into a disaster. The conditions for the crowd were poor and things turned destructive during Limp Bizkit‘s set, before fires and riots broke out during Red Hot Chili Peppers‘ set. Multiple rapes were also reported.
