It was previously revealed that the new movie focusing on the late Chris Cornell (Soundgarden, etc.), “Black Days,” is set to begin filming in October. However, a representative from Cornell’s estate has since issued a statement to Pitchfork saying that the film is “not sanctioned or approved by the estate” and that “no one contacted the estate for any information.” This news comes after a casting call was recently posted on Backstage.
