Five Finger Death Punch Movie Appears To Be In The Works, Band Named “Best Live Act” At 2020 AIM Awards

During a recent interview with Metal Hammer, Zoltan Bathory offered an update on Five Finger Death Punch’s current plans. Interestingly, the guitarist seemed to suggest that a new movie focusing on the band is among the various things that they have in the works.

Bathory said the following:

“I’m good with the gas pedal, but didn’t really figure out how the brakes work yet, so even though these days I jump in the pool once a day, it’s full-tilt boogie here.

We just built a Death Punch app, which is in the final testing phase, we’re working on video treatments for the next couple of singles and working on a Five Finger Death Punch movie.

I’m also designing props for whenever we can tour again, designing new Death Punch merch, new signature guitars, training Jiu-Jitsu and renovating a castle which is a fun side-project.

And besides navigating the Five Finger Death Punch battleship, I also co-manage Bad Wolves and Fire From The Gods, so I’m pretty busy. Oh, and the Illuminati won’t run itself either, so…”

It’s worth noting that the group have been filming parts and working on a music video for the new horror movie “The Retaliators.” However, it is unclear if that’s what Bathory was referring to.

In other news, Five Finger Death Punch have also been named as the “Best Live Act” at the 10th anniversary edition of the AIM Awards. The band said the following about that:

“We want to take a second to tell you what a tremendous honor it is to receive the best live act AIM Award 2020 and an extra special shout out to AIM for always providing growth and opportunities for independent artists and labels. WE are proud to be one of them. We look forward to seeing every last one of you out on tour sooner than later, stay safe out there, keep well!”

Dan Waite, MD Europe Better Noise Music, added:

“It’s fantastic to have AIM as a backer and champion for the independent music community. AIM’s knowledge support and guidance is invaluable to independent record labels. Five Finger Death Punch winning AIM Best Live Act is testament to the bands passion, integrity, vision and lack of compromise when putting together Global Arena filling shows. Their fans recognise that and voted accordingly. Thank you.”
