Sevendust Planning To Release New Album In Summer 2020

Sevendust have been in the studio working on their new album, but it looks like fans will have to wait a little while to hear it. During a recent interview with Wisconsin’s Razor 94.7/104.7, guitarist Clint Lowery revealed that the band are planning to release the effort in summer 2020.

Lowery said the following:

“I’m actually done. I just finished my last thing a few days ago and Lajon has like one more song to sing. And then I’ll be sending a couple things, like last minute things but we’re pretty much wrapped on that thing.

We’re gonna sit on it for a while, we may record a little bit more in the Spring but I think we’re done. And I’m really pumped up about it. I think it’s gonna be killer.

Sevendust will come out summer of 2020 so I’ll have a little bit of a hole to do my thing for a while. Sevendust needs to go away for a little bit; we can’t just stay out. And I think everyone understands that. So it’ll be good to give that a break, so we can come back recharged for that.”

Despite the wait, fans will still get to hear new music from Lowery when he releases his new solo album “God Bless The Renegades” on January 31.
