Static-X have joined forces with Metal Monkey Brewing to create a new beer called “Evil Disco Hell.” The beverage is a 5.4% ABV Helles-style lager and it is expected to be released in December. Metal Monkey owner and brewer Dan Camp issued the following statement:
“Having seen the band on the original ‘Wisconsin Death Trip‘ tour, we were excited to work with the band on crafting a beer for the 20-year anniversary. Working with a band is a big deal to us, because at the end of the day we’re fans ourselves. But if we can bring a new experience to other fans out there, we think it’s a ton of fun. Not only can you enjoy the music, but you can enjoy a tasty beverage that the band was integral in making, so it gives fans a bit more insight as to what else these guys are into. Tony [Campos] contacted us early into their tour knowing our love and passion for both craft beer and metal, so we’ve traded ideas back and forth for the past few months to come up with Evil Disco Hell.”
