Tool updated their cover photo on Facebook earlier today (April 3) and fans are going crazy. The image features the band’s logo, along with the Roman numerals MMXIX (aka 2019). Many are assuming the group posted the picture as a way to confirm that their long-awaited new album is finally coming out this year. The effort appeared to be in the mastering phase last month and Kirk Hammett (Metallica) claimed he heard the band were already working on the cover art. Maynard James Keenan also previously said the record may be released “somewhere between mid-May and mid-July.”
