A new trailer has been released for the new thrash metal documentary “Murder In The Front Row: The San Francisco Bay Area Thrash Metal Story.” The film was directed by Adam Dubin and it will premiere at AMC Kabuki 8 in San Francisco, CA on April 20. The movie, which expands on the “Murder in the Front Row: Shots From The Bay Area Thrash Metal Epicenter” book, was narrated by Brian Posehn and it will feature interviews with members of Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Exodus, Testament, etc. Furthermore, Metal Allegiance will be playing at the Fillmore after the premiere. Various guests will join the band at the show including the previously confirmed Gary Holt (Exodus, Slayer). Dubin commented:
“What I loved about the book is that it wasn’t just about Metallica. It was documenting a vibrant scene, where all the bands were equal and there was real camaraderie. The photos captured the sweat of the clubs, the ringing in your ears and the power of young people. Harald [Oimoen] and Brian [Lew] captured the humanity of it, and they understood that I was somebody who could bring that out in a film.”
