During Five Finger Death Punch’s August 31 show in Noblesville, IN, the band decided to prank the crowd by taking the stage with Tommy Vext (Bad Wolves) on vocals instead of frontman Ivan Moody, who ran out shorty after. The funny thing about this is the fact that Vext previously filled in for Moody on the group’s 2017 European tour, following an onstage meltdown.

So last night @ivanmoody says “let’s pull a prank” And right before @5fdp is about to go on he switches places with me on stage. The fans, the staff, the crew, not even security, no one has any idea what’s about to happen. @zoltanbathory turns over to me and just starts laughing and the curtain drops for the first song and 24 Thousand People are just completely confused as to wtf is 🤣🤣🤣🤣 A few seconds later when my man comes bounding out from behind the @officialjeremyspencer & there you have it #FiveFingerDeathPrank #badwolves #fivefingerdeathpunch #breakingbenjamin #nothingmore #tourlife #tourpranks #whosnext 😂 🎥 🎥🎥🎥🎥🎥@randyedwardsphotos
