Anthrax Reveal Details For 30th Anniversary Edition Of “State Of Euphoria”

Anthrax have announced that the 30th anniversary edition of “State Of Euphoria“ will be released on October 5. It will come with two discs, including one with a remastered version of the album, b-sides, and a live version of “Antisocial” recorded in London back in March of 1989, and another one, titled “Statements Of Euphoria (Charlie’s Archives),” with early demo recordings and more. The effort will also include revised packaging, a 20-page booklet, new liner notes, etc. Pre-orders can be found HERE in the following formats: 2-CD deluxe edition, 2-LP vinyl set, and digitally.

Drummer Charlie Benante helmed the project and he had the following to say:

“We recorded everything back then. We would sit in the rehearsal room with a little two-track machine record everything we did in rehearsal while we were putting the songs together.”

“‘State Of Euphoria‘ is the album that we always felt we never got to finish properly. We wished we had had a little more time to spend on it. But having revisited it while putting together this package, I really got to enjoy it again, it took me back to that time when everything was a whirlwind.”
