Metallica were honored with the Polar Music Prize during a ceremony at Konserthuset in Stockholm, Sweden today (June 14) and during the event Ghost’s Cardinal Copia performed a special cover of Metallica‘s “Enter Sandman” with Candlemass and Vargas & Lagolawas. You can see footage of that below. Metallica’s Lars Ulrich and Robert Trujillo accepted the award from His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden, and the group are planning to donate the million Swedish krona ($125,000 USD) it comes with to their All Within My Hands Foundation.
