Avenged Sevenfold recently spent some time with a young fan named Desiree thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the organization that grants wishes to children suffering from life-threatening illnesses. The band invited Desiree and her family backstage during their show at the Ford Center in Evansville, IN, where she got to hang out with them and sing “So Far Away” while the group played acoustically.

At the last show in Evansville we had the pleasure of hosting a backstage meet and greet with a very special and talented individual. Desiree, it was so great meeting you and we had such a good time playing "So Far Away" with you acoustically. You have a very beautiful voice. We are beyond honored that you chose us for your “Make A Wish” experience. #thestageworldtour #avengedsevenfold @makeawishamerica 📷:@rafacore
