Earlier today, The Faceless announced a U.S. tour with Inanimate Existence in support of their new album “In Becoming A Ghost” (out December 1). Now, the band have kicked Inanimate Existence off the tour, due to “actions that [they] simply cannot stand for.” The band weren’t exactly clear on what those “actions” were, but Metal Sucks shared a screenshot of a deleted post from Michael Keene that said Inanimate Existence were dropped following an incident with a woman.
Here’s The Faceless’ statement:
“Due to information that has just come to our attention today regarding actions that we simply cannot stand for, we will be dropping Inanimate Existence from our album release shows. It is not our place to say what these actions were, but we cannot and will not condone them, and thus must drop them from the tour.
We have not yet decided if we will be looking to replace them with another band. We will be fulfilling these dates with our without a replacement opener.”
