Devin Townsend was recently interviewed by eonmusic.co.uk, and revealed that he will take the stage with Steve Vai for the first time in 25 years. That performance will take place at the Starmus Festival: Live And The Universe science and arts event, which will be held on June 18-23 in Trondheim, Norway. Townsend said the following:
“We’re doing one of my songs with an orchestra, and I’m singing with him for the first time in 25 years. I’m also playing some of his stuff, so I think, now that I’ve been elevated to Riff Lord, I may get a promotion!”
