M. Shadows Says Avenged Sevenfold “Have About Seven More Tracks That Will Be Added” To “The Stage” In The Future

With all the secrecy and unconventional release plans surrounding Avenged Sevenfold’s new album “The Stage,” it does not seem too far-fetched for the band to have even more in store for the fans. In fact, M. Shadows recently chatted with Chris Jericho on the Talk Is Jericho podcast, and said they actually have “about seven more tracks that will be added” in the future.

Shadows said the following:

“This record is evolving. There are things we’re going to be adding to the record as time goes on, and it’s still going to be part of the record. We don’t want to give out what those songs are, but we have about seven more tracks that will be added on to this as time goes on.”

On top of this, as Metal Injection pointed out, the image in the CD case and on the band’s site feature a robot skull with “The Stage” cover art in one eye, and a mysterious image in the other.

Fans have also continued to mess with the band’s deathbot, which seems to say something is coming in November. Synyster Gates did yell ‘”Voltaic Oceans” on December 9’ during the band’s Capitol Records set as well, though that could just be a shout out to Jericho’s fake title/release date. If there is more to announce, it will be revealed in due time, but if you want you can dive deeper into the conspiracy theories on Reddit.
