Today Is The Day have signed a new deal with The End Records. The band will release a new album through the label in 2017, and also plan to reissue their back catalogue, complete with rare and unreleased material.
Steve Austin said the following:
“Well, I gotta say that I am truly excited about our signing with The End Records guys. The owner of The End Records (Andreas) has been a big fan of TITD since the very beginning and is very passionate about working with TITD. Here are a few details of what is coming in 2017.
#1 We are Re-Issuing Temple of The Morning Star on Vinyl, CD and Digital. The Packaging is going to be so sick. I won’t spoil it by telling you, but every Idea I had on how to make this cool, The End was 100% down. Demos, Photos, and More that tell the complete story behind this album. It is going to be the 20th anniversary of this release. We will be doing a One-Time Only tour performing Temple from beginning to end, USA, Canada, Europe etc.
#2 I am writing the new TITD album right now. Me and the guys are going to record it in the next few months. It marks the 25th Anniversary of my band. I have so much to say and can’t wait to get it all out there with this new album. I am pouring my blood directly into this record. The very best we have to give or nothing at all. I decided to reach out to my good friend, Maor Appelbaum to Master this record as collaboration. Maor has made some great albums including Faith No More “Sol Invictus” and many others.
#3 All of The TITD albums are going to get the Special Re-Issue treatment. This includes SADNESS WILL PREVAIL that has never been released on Vinyl. Every Today Is The Day album including all of the AMRep and Relapse Releases, Axis of Eden, Pain Is A Warning and EVEN our previously unreleased demos of “How To Win Friends and Influence People” are going to be part of this awesome union.
In Short, this is something I have been working on for a LONG time. I wouldn’t trust just anyone to do this with me and The End Records has been totally awesome and willing to make all of the Re-Issues and our New Album the Very Best It Can Be. My friends and Fans of TITD, 2017 is going to be fucking awesome.”
