A late extreme metal fan named Nick has been having his ashes spread at various shows, including concerts from Behemoth, Dying Fetus, and Taake. Nick’s friend, David Rich, has been taking his remains to different shows, in Chicago, IL, so he can fulfill his dying wish. Rich said the following:
“I take nick’s ashes with me every show that i go to so that he is there with me and at shows that he’s missing out on. i love you nick. thank you so much Adam Nergal for doing this i couldn’t have been happier. i appreciate this more then you know.”
Nergal Said the following, before Behemoth performed “Antichristian Phenomenon”:
“I have never done this before. Our friend and massive Behemoth fan; his name was Nick. All I’ve got to say is, wherever you are, rest in peace, my friend.”
Dying Fetus said the following:
“We scattered nicks ashes in the pit for his favourite song, homicidal retribution, may he RIP. Rest in the pit \m/”
