There was a little something for rock/metal fans at the Oscars this year. One big thing was Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters) paying tribute to the actors that have passed with a special performance of the Beatles’ “Blackbird” during the In Memoriam segment.
Another thing was Pantera getting a shout out during the intro for the Best Adapted Screenplay category, which showed Christian Bale playing drums along to the band’s music in “The Big Short.”
