Zakk Wylde On Phil Anselmo’s “White Power” Salute: “Phil, What Are You Doing, Man?”

Zakk Wylde (Black Label Society) has offered his opinion on Phil Anselmo’s recent racist outburst, which Anselmo issued multiple apologies about. You check out Wylde’s take on the situation below:

“Phil, what are you doing, man? ‘Cause the Phil I know, Phil‘s always a sweetheart and always hugs and kisses and he’s nice to everybody, man.

So then, then I’m watching this, and when I saw the video, I’m, like, ‘What are you doing, man?’ But he apologized, and he knows he’s wrong, man. And it just got canceled, that one tour or whatever, so, and the promoters are gonna be, like, ‘Uh… This ain’t good.’ So we’ll see, we just sit back and see what happens now. I’m pretty much like everybody else, just as bummed out and upset and saddened by the whole thing, man.”

This new comes after some recent Hellfest contoversy, and the cancellation of Down’s Fortarock, and New Orleans shows.
