Defones have announced their rescheduled European dates. The band originally cancelled the shows after the Paris terrorist attacks.
Rescheduled dates:
3/6/16 – London, UK – The SSE Arena, Wembley
14/6/16 – Koln, Germany – Palladium
15/6/16 – Berlin, Germany – Columbiahalle
The terrorist attacks occurred in six locations throughout Paris, France on Friday, November 13. According to CNN, at least 129 people were killed overall, with at least 80 being slaughtered at the Bataclan music hall, where Eagles Of Death Metal were playing. The band stopped playing as soon as they heard gunfire, and headed to the exit. Terrorists then begun taking hostages, and killed them one by one. All the band members made it out alive, including Matt McJunkins, who was one of the hostages. ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack, and French president Francois Hollande said the country “will lead the fight and will be ruthless.” France has since responded with a massive airstrike on Syria.
Members of Deftones were also in the area, because they had planned to play three consecutive shows there. They were all okay, and these Paris shows have yet to be rescheduled.
