Bullet For My Valentine have premiered a new song, titled “Playing God.” This song is a bonus track from the deluxe version of the band’s new album, Venom, which will be released on August 14.
Matt Tuck said the following about the song:
“The track came about from a demo that Padge had written at his house, and as soon as everyone heard it, we knew it could be a huge sounding song. It had a very simple vibe but a huge groove that had everyone banging their heads as soon as they heard it. Lyrically the song is basically about taking control back of your life when you’ve feel you may have lost it. Having the strength to take control of a situation, whatever that may be in life, can sometimes be harder than you think. So, this song is about finding that strength to overcome situations you ultimately have control of.”
