In a new interview with Revolver, Max Cavalera discussed the new Soulfly album and revealed the special guests that will appear on the effort. He said that Al Jourgensen (Ministry) will guest on the track “Sodomite,” and that Matt Young (King Parrot) will guest on the song “Live Life Hard.” He went on to say that “all [his] kids” will be featured on “Mother Of Dragon.”
Archangel will be be released on August 14, with the title track serving as the first single. The band will also be embarking on the “We Sold Our Souls To Metal” tour with Soilwork, Decapitated and Shattered Sun. That trek is named after another album track which Cavalera also described in the interview:
“It’s a killer track. It’s really fast, and only about two minutes long. It has a really cool, catchy chorus, but then the rest of the song almost reminds me of older Cannibal Corpse. And at the end it goes into this metal-meets-Pink-Floyd kind of thing. It’s really wild and weird.”
