Wind Rose Part Ways With Drummer Federico Gatti

Wind Rose have parted ways with drummer Federico Gatti. A replacement is still pending.

The band commented:

“After almost 8 years of working together, drummer Federico Gatti is parting ways with Wind Rose.

This goodbye comes simply from having different visions on the next steps, and it comes with nothing but gratitude and respect.

Please join us in wishing Federico Gatti all the best.

Wind Rose,
Francesco, Claudio & Federico”

Gatti added:

“For almost 9 years I sat behind the drums of Wind Rose, but now the time has come to announce that I will no longer be part of the band.

This has been an incredible chapter of my life, filled with unforgettable experiences, amazing people, countless miles travelled, and stages I could only have dreamed of when this journey began. I will always be grateful for everything we have achieved together and for all the memories I get to carry with me.

This decision was made amicably, with mutual respect and friendship between all of us. Sometimes, even when a chapter has been an amazing one, it’s simply time to turn the page.

But this is not the end of my story. If anything, it feels like the beginning of a whole new one.

Over these years, I’ve also built a lot of things of my own, developed new ideas, and grown both as a musician and as an individual. Now I feel it’s time to give those things more space to grow, explore new possibilities, and see where they can take me.

One door may be closing, but countless others are opening. I’m not disappearing from the music scene. Quite the opposite: I’m ready to get back out there, embrace new challenges and collaborations, and take everything I’ve learned into whatever comes next.

To everyone who has been part of this journey, especially all the fans who supported us along the way: thank you. None of this would have been the same without you. Your energy, your passion, and the memories we’ve shared will always mean a lot to me. I will carry them with me forever, along with my deepest gratitude.

And trust me, you haven’t seen the last of me.”
