The Absence have reunited with Peter Joseph. The guitarist commented on his return:

“I’m stoked, I feel like I’m back where I belong. This band has always been the core of who I am musically. Writing and recording with Jeramie and Jamie all these years later feels like a fresh, new chapter in an old book that everyone loves; let’s fucking go!”
