During a recent appearance on the “Artist Friendly” podcast, Glassjaw vocalist Daryl Palumbo discussed the possibility of new music from the band. He says him and guitarist Justin Beck “always have a bunch of ideas always going around.”

Palumbo said the following about new Glassjaw and Head Automatica:

“I love a bunch of Head Automatica songs we have happening. Glassjaw always — me and Justin — always have a bunch of ideas always going around. Always a bunch of reworks going on of things when we’re playing. Um, lot of new Head Automatica stuff. Yeah, we’re playing two of them. Trying to get ready another third one to start playing and just see how it is.

[I’m] really happy. Yeah, very happy. I mean, so many years passed, that I’m so lucky to even be able to do something with a name of a project from years ago, [I] feel I’m blessed enough to be playing and feel progressed a little as far as what I do and I’m playing with guys that are just monsters.”

He also added the following about Head Automatica‘s upcoming EP:

“I mean, it could be done awfully soon. There’s a lot of tunes that are pretty, pretty ready to go. We’re playing a bunch. Playing two right now. Pretty much a third one is kind of ready to be played. We have a bunch. Definitely a bunch fully tracked and ready… It sounds great. A lot of it sounds really great. High energy. Good. Very fun. Some of it’s pretty pop, poptacular. A lot of it is, you know, far out, a little more aggressive and dancey.”
