AC/DC’s September 16 show at Rogers Stadium in Toronto, ON has been cancelled. The concert was scrapped after the venue suffered damage in a storm.

The following statement was issued:

“An update from Rogers Stadium

We regret to announce that AC/DC’s show scheduled for September 16, 2026, at Rogers Stadium in Toronto has been cancelled due to damage the venue sustained following a severe weather event.

The safety of fans, artists, crew and venue staff remains our highest priority. Every effort was made to find potential solutions for the show to move forward in Toronto, but unfortunately we were unable to find an alternative venue that could accommodate everyone. Fans who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster will automatically receive a refund to their original method of payment; no action is required.

Following a thorough assessment of Rogers Stadium after last week’s extreme weather event, Live Nation today announced that the upcoming AC/DC concert has been cancelled due to severe damage to portions of the venue.

Safety for employees, fans, artists and vendors is always paramount. Last Wednesday’s storm was an exceptionally severe and significant weather event, and in the days since, engineers have conducted a thorough assessment of the venue in coordination with the City of Toronto.

That work has determined that sections of the venue impacted by the storm will need to be removed and rebuilt.

All original ticket purchases for the cancelled AC/DC concert at Rogers Stadium will be automatically refunded in full through Ticketmaster. Fans who purchased resale tickets should contact their point of sale for refund information.

Rogers Stadium operates under extensive operational oversight and undergoes a rigorous safety inspection process. Engineers have worked with the City of Toronto from the beginning of the project and continue to do so as remediation work moves forward.

Given the damage to the stadium, the venue is not capable of hosting fans for the concert on September 16
