During System Of A Down’s recent shows at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England, guitarist/vocalist Daron Malakian reignited an old fued with Oasis. He took several shots at the band, whose guitarist/vocalist Noel Gallagher once called System Of A Down “the shittiest band of all time.”
Malakian said the following before a performance of “Needles” during a July 13 set:
“London, do you have an ass? I said, do you have an ass? Everybody say Ass! Ass! Ass! We have a little song about a tapeworm. Just for fun today, I’m going to name the tapeworm. Today I’m gonna name the tapeworm Oasis.”
He then proceeded to have the audience chant “pull Oasis out of your ass.”
Malakian also used England’s World Cup loss to take another shot at the band during a July 15 set:
“Don’t boo me, boo Oasis.”
“So I heard the score is now 1-1. If you guys lose, I blame Oasis.”
