As previously reported, former Dead Kennedys singer Jello Biafra recently made a return to the live stage during the Tentacle Fest in San Francisco, CA. The brief appearance was welcomed news amid health setbacks related to a hemorrhagic stroke. Despite this, it appears his recovery is still ongoing. Alternative Tentacles said the following:

“A bit of clarification from Alternative Tentacles Records regarding Jello Biafra’s condition. Like all of you, we were thrilled to see Jello back on stage at TentacleFEST. That said, it’s important to keep things in perspective. Jello was only on stage for less than 10 minutes, and by the end of the event he was visibly exhausted and pale. It took lot out of him to do even that much. He’s continuing to work hard to regain his strength and balance, but that process is going to take time. As much as we’d all love to see him back on stage regularly, it’s simply too soon to expect that of him. Like all of you, we continue to support his recovery and understand it’s going to be a long road. We want him to take all the time he needs.”
