Jason Aalon Butler (letlive., Fever 333) is set to appear in a new short film titled “Rust God.” The drama/thriller will serve as his acting debut.

Here’s a synopsis:

“Anthony Angel, the fast rising rapper known as ‘Rust God‘, battles the pressure of newfound fame, industry expectations and racial oppression. A crucial mistake on the night of a sold out concert leads him to a crossroads where his relentless roots emerge and his killer instincts are his only pathway to remedy the mess he has made.”

Director Daniel McCartney commented:

“Jason was the first and only person I asked to take part as the lead in this short film and that’s for a reason. His intensity and talent for performing arts are exactly what I was looking for to tell this story. Working with him was a pleasure and an honor and will undoubtedly happen again.
