Enjoy The Ride Records have announced a new 30th anniversary vinyl pressing of Local H’s “As Good As Dead.” However, the band have since commented on the reissue, saying it was news to them.

Local H said the following:
“Well, this is news to us. Especially since we were in the process of acquiring the rights from the label for our own official reissue. But —y’know— who the fuck are we, right? (By the way — the remaster we commissioned sounds terrific. Too bad no one will get to hear it.)”
Enjoy The Ride Records then responded:
“@local_h we are very sorry you were not aware as we messaged you guys over a year ago about this to get you involved. I just got off a call with your manager to discuss this given the circumstances in hopes we can work something out that makes sense for everyone involved as In no way was this intentionally hid from you as we always try to get the artists involved best we can when they are active and want to be. please check your dms as we messaged you a year ago.”
The band later added:
“You might have heard the news yesterday about a certain reissue of a certain record. Well, it was certainly news to us. But there’s no use in pointing fingers — let’s just concentrate on the GOOD news! The OFFICIAL release of the long awaited 30th anniversary vinyl edition of AS GOOD AS DEAD will be available to get in your hot little hands —DIRECTLY from us! Featuring exclusive liner notes, original and enhanced artwork supervised by the original artist Jerry Newbrough, and an all new vinyl remaster by Dan Coutant (the acclaimed engineer behind our WHATEVER HAPPENED TO PJ SOLES? remaster).”
