Blut Aus Nord have premiered a new video for their new song “The Ordeal.” This track is from the band’s new album, “Ethereal Horizons,” which will be released on November 28. Vocalist/guitarist Vindsval commented:
“‘The Ordeal‘ refers both to judgment — not necessarily divine — and to suffering. Any profound spiritual journey involves a form of trial; you cannot avoid that pain. Seeking to understand, to rise, to give meaning to our existence inevitably means confronting our own flaws and a certain inner anguish. But this pain is not in vain — it is essential to transformation and transcendence. Religion, and more broadly spirituality, is not torment in itself; it reflects the perpetual inner struggle between our shadows and our light.”
