Dreadnought have shared a new video for their cover of Nine Inch Nails’ “The Becoming.” You can check that out below. The track is from Magnetic Eye Records’ new tribute to “The Downward Spiral.“ That effort is titled “The Downward Spiral Redux” and it will be released on November 28 alongside another tribute album called “The Best Of NIN Redux.” Dreadnought’s Kelly Schilling commented:
“What excited us most about our choice of ‘The Becoming‘ for this tribute was the challenge of covering an artist with a completely different sound from us yet one that we love and respect. While we wanted to pay homage to the original song, we also wanted to fully make it our own. We had a lot of fun interpreting the melodies and nuances with different voicings and instrumentation, and we couldn’t resist adding a new flair of our own.”
