The Indianapolis, IN location of Kuma’s Corner have cancelled a burger and cocktail promotion associated with Disturbed. It is unclear why the restaurant scrapped their plans, but some have speculated it could be related to David Draiman‘s support of Israel. The frontman was infamously photographed signing an artillery shell last year. Kuma’s Corner said the following about the situation:
“After the discovery of recent events, we here at Kuma’s Corner Indy have decided to pull the Disturbed burger and cocktail promotion scheduled to run this weekend. We sincerely apologize this oversight on our end and the values expressed by this band are not a representation of Kuma’s as a brand. We are using this as an opportunity to expand our research further for future band collaborations. Thank you to our loyal customers for bringing these concerns to our attention.”
