On March 1, Puddle Of Mudd played a free benefit show at the Broken Spoke Saloon in Ormond Beach, FL. However, fans in attendance had to suffer through a disastrous performance from Wes Scantlin. Oddly enough, the frontman has since claimed the sloppy set was a result of being drugged. He said the following:
“I suck, I suck and I suck, but I was roofied. My old bass player Sean Sammon roofied me last night, so he can go fuck his ass.”
Despite this, a signed guitar from the group still managed to raise $5,000 for children’s cancer research.
