According to Billboard, Red Hot Chili Peppers are currently planning to sell the masters to their catalog. This includes every album released by Warner Music. It’s unclear if the band’s first four albums are part of the deal considering they were released by EMI. However, some sources have said they are included. The band are currently seeking $350 million for the rights to the material. Notably, Red Hot Chili Peppers’ catalog generates about $26 million a year.
