Ben Kenney (ex-Incubus) has released a new song titled “Fires.“ You can check that out below. The single follows several years of hardship for the musician, who lost his father and suffered permanent deafness in one ear and partial facial paralysis from brain tumor surgery. Kenney commented:
“The last few years have been really challenging. I needed a hard reset. I called Mike Einzinger and thanked him for the chance to be a part of their world. It was now time to step into myself. [‘Fires’ is] one of the hardest songs for me to sing because I feel like I’m still living it, but it’s all very cathartic for me — music is a great way to turn healing into something that can be shared with others.”
