During an interview with Radio Futuro, Faith No More’s Billy Gould was asked about the band’s current status. According to him, the group are “in a really weird spot.”

The bassist said the following:
“I don’t know. I honestly don’t know. And you don’t have to believe me, but there’s nothing… Right now we’re in a really weird spot, a really strange spot, and I can’t really tell you what’s going on. I don’t know myself. I get different information from people, and I’m in the band, so…”
He continued when asked if he “calls the shots”:
“Uh, not really. If I did, probably we’d be playing in Chile next week. [Laughs]”
This news comes after keyboardist Roddy Bottum made similar comments last fall. At the time, he said the group were “kind of on semi permanent hiatus.”
