Deftones’ 1992 demo has officially become the most expensive cassette tape to be sold on Discogs. That effort features the following tracks: “Like Linus,“ “Hump,“ “Some People,” and “Plastic.“ Discogs commented via Instagram:
“In May, a @Deftones‘ self-titled cassette popped up on Discogs. It was then sold for $5,000, making it THE most valuable cassette sold on Discogs of all time. Link in bio to dig into other rare demo recordings, promotional releases, or self-released tapes that collectors were willing to go the extra mile to add to their collection.”
