Periphery Drummer Matt Halpern To Sit Out November Australian Tour

Periphery drummer Matt Halpern will be missing the band’s November Australian tour following the birth of his second child. David Parkes (I Built The Sky) will be filling in.

The band commented:

“We’re excited to say that Matt recently welcomed his second child into his family and everyone is doing great! With that in mind, we’re sad to say that with his current family duties at home, Matt will not be joining us in Australia in November. We’re really going to miss him on this run, but thankfully he’s leaving us in very capable hands with the great David Parkes filling in for him on the drums. We’re very happy for Matt and this decision was one we all made collectively as a band. Matt will be back for our tour with Spiritbox in 2025 and beyond. Thanks for understanding and see you soon! Tickets for all AUS shows are still available at periphery.net.”
