ten56. (ex-Betraying The Martyrs) have premiered a new song titled “ICU.” The track focuses on vocalist Aaron Matts’ struggles with drug abuse and it can be found below. The band said the following about the single:
“With ‘ICU‘ we really wanted to focus on pushing the production value as far as we could and experiment with different tones and moods; this track revisits Aaron‘s constant battle with pharmaceutical medication in a more confrontational light. With faster paced vocal lines and melodic instrumental intervals, we purposely tread off the beaten path with this latest track. But as is always the case, this latest release doesn’t necessarily announce a shift in direction for the band; we have more to come in the barrel and are always aiming to catch our audience off guard. Enjoy this song as much as we enjoyed writing it!”
