Salem Trials have premiered a new video for their new song “River Of Bodies.” This track is from the band’s new EP “Rot,” which will be released on September 27.

“As we approached this new EP, our mindset was driven by a desire to push the boundaries of our sound, while staying true to our roots. We aimed to create music that not only reflects our evolution as musicians, but also resonates deeply with our listeners. Each track is crafted with meticulous attention to detail, blending aggression with melody while delivering a powerful narrative.
It was a no-brainer to choose ‘River of Bodies’ as the first single as we were all immediately drawn to the riffs and structure of the song, which isn’t always the case right off the bat. This track explores the final journey of a man crossing over to the afterlife, where death awaits to lead him through the shadows. Although the music video might not visually narrate this journey, it definitely captures the dark essence of the song.
Our band and this new EP stand out by weaving together intense musical aggression with surreal, thought-provoking themes that resonate on multiple levels. We strive to push boundaries both musically and lyrically, crafting a sound that merges brutal heaviness with intricate melodies and dynamic arrangements.
