As previously reported, Marilyn Manson returned to the stage earlier this month with a new backing band consisting of guitarist Reba Meyers (Code Orange), guitarist Tyler Bates, drummer Gil Sharone (ex-The Dillinger Escape Plan), and bassist Matt “Piggy D.” Montgomery (ex-Rob Zombie). However, the current live shows have been taking place amid a wave of controversy due to the numerous sexual assault allegations that have been leveled against Manson in recent years. Despite this, it appears Meyers is still thankful for the opportunity. She said the following:
