During an interview with Revolver, Underoath’s Spencer Chamberlain revealed that the band are currently finishing up their new album. He said the following about that:
“I’ve been proud of everything we’ve done, truthfully. Even some of the older stuff that I don’t really connect with anymore, I can look back at it and be proud of where we were at that specific time. But I don’t [think] I’ve felt like this about new Underoath in a very long time. I think the last time I felt like this was when we made [2006’s] ‘Define the Great Line‘, coming off [2004’s] ‘They’re Only Chasing Safety‘ — that [artistic] shift [of] not knowing what we were doing but knowing [it was] something special. That’s how I feel right now.”
