Scowl have pulled out of this year’s edition of Welcome To Rockville in Daytona Beach, FL to protest the festival’s decision to accept sponsorship from the US Army. This news comes after the band previously cancelled their official South By Southwest (SXSW) events in Austin, TX for a similar reason. Scowl commented:
“We will not be performing at this year’s Welcome To Rockville Festival in Daytona Beach, FL due to the US Army’s Sponsorship of the event.”
