As previously reported, Bullet For My Valentine and Trivium will be celebrating the 20th anniversaries of “The Poison” and “Ascendancy” on a joint tour next year. As if that wasn’t enough, it appears the two acts are also considering the possibility of collaborating on new music.

Bullet For My Valentine’s Matt Tuck told Rock Sound the following about the band’s plans:
“We’re doing some very special limited editions of vinyls of ‘The Poison’ [and the 2005 EP ‘Hand Of Blood’], and combining a bunch of stuff with behind the scenes never released footage and artwork and all that kind of good stuff. Maybe even doing a collab with another band [note: Tuck looks at Matt Heafy and both laugh]. You know, stuff like that. We’ll see how that goes.”
Trivium’s Matt Heafy added:
“What we’ve been talking about is trying – not even trying – but getting back in the headspace of ‘Ascendancy.’ Since we’ll be in that headspace, writing new music there and definitely having [Matt Tuck] on vocals. He has to do it now that it’s on film. He has to do it. So that I think that’ll be amazing.”
