As previously reported, Marilyn Manson (aka Brian Warner) was recently ordered to pay $326,956 worth of Evan Rachel Wood‘s legal fees after filing a defamation suit against her and Ilma Gore. However, it appears he will now have to pay more. According to Rolling Stone, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Teresa A. Beaudet has ordered the frontman to pay an additional $169,408 for Gore’s lawyers.

Wood and Gore were awarded the reimbursements under California’s anti-SLAPP statute. The motion said "for years, Plaintiff Brian Warner raped and tortured Defendant Evan Rachel Wood and threatened retaliation if she told anyone about it" and that the musician "has now made good on those threats by filing the present lawsuit.” Notably, Manson is trying to appeal the motion.
This news comes after Beaudet previously struck down various claims in Warner’s complaint, but some are still being allowed to move forward. This includes claims that Wood and Gore “conspired to hack into Warner’s computer, impersonate him over the Internet, and make a “swatting” call that brought police to his doorstep.” The matter will be heading to trial on May 1.
As previously reported, Manson has been facing allegations from a number of women who came forward after being inspired by Wood, who claimed that the shock rocker “horrifically abused [her] for years.” Among those who shared their stories were Ashley Morgan Smithline, who accused him of sexual assault before recanting her statements, Esmé Bianco, who settled a lawsuit in which she accused him of abuse and human trafficking, Bianca Allaine, who described him as the “most terrifying person [she has] ever met in [her] life,” his former assistant Ashley Walters, who filed a lawsuit after accusing him of sexual assault, sexual battery, sexual harassment, intentional infliction of emotional distress, etc., one unidentified woman, who recently settled a rape and death threat lawsuit, and another unidentified woman, who filed a lawsuit after claiming he sexually assaulted her when she was 16.
For his part, Manson has continued to deny the allegations.
