To The Grave have premiered a new song titled “Deadskin Skimask.” This track features Jake Kennedy (Stab On Sight) and it will appear on the band’s upcoming EP “Offcuts.” That effort will be available in digital outlets on September 15. It will also be available on the deluxe CD and vinyl editions of “Director’s Cuts.”
Vocalist Dane Evans commented:
“‘Deadskin Skimask‘ is one of my favourites from the whole of ‘Director’s Cuts‘ and ‘Offcuts‘, this song almost ended up on the album until we realized it sucked and needed to take another run at it. What you hear now is the result of us trying to save it and I ended up pretty stoked on it.
Something about it has given me Slipknot vibes all the way through this track, even the breakdown. Straight up what I feel is our most violently-written song to date and I think it’ll go off live. Our good friend Jake kills his feature on this and it was cool to get to sample Pearl, go watch that movie.”
