During a recent interview with Kaosis frontman Xen, original Slipknot singer Anders Colsefni was asked if he would ever consider working on a new song with his former band. He responded by saying that he is “absolutely” open to the idea.

Colsefni said the following:
“Yeah, absolutely. If they contacted me and wanted me to do something, yeah, why not?”
In related news, Colsefni also revealed his favorite Slipknot song outside his era with the band:
“To be honest with you, I’m gonna say ‘Wait And Bleed’, the very first one that hit right after I left. And it’s the one that I would have thought that I would have hated the most, just because of my circumstances. But that song, when I heard it, I’m, like, ‘That’s it. I couldn’t have done that like that. So kudos to you, guys.’ So ‘Wait And Bleed’.”
As previously reported, Colsefni will be playing Slipknot’s “Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat.” in full on an Australian/New Zealand tour with Waylon Reavis (ex-Mushroohead). Notably, he also expressed interest in the possibility of bringing that trek to other parts of the world:
“Nothing planned yet, but I’m not gonna say nothing will happen because I really hope something will.”
