Pelican have shared a new video for a remastered version of their song “Ran Amber.” That track will appear on the deluxe edition of “The Fire In Our Throats Will Beckon The Thaw,” which will be released on July 21. The group commented:
“So stoked to share “Ran Amber,” one of the rarities from the forthcoming deluxe reissue of The Fire In Our Throats Will Beckon The Thaw, out July 21 on Thrill Jockey Records. “Ran Amber” is an early version of the album cut “Red Ran Amber” recorded at the same session that we recorded the EP version of “March Into The Sea” in 2004. We eventually finished the song and mixed it in 2005 for our split 12” with MONO, but it has largely been unavailable digitally.”
